Who are we ?

Chetwode, financing solutions for industry

At the end of the 90s, Chris Jewell, Simon Hamilton and Jean-Baptiste Magnen began their collaboration with the creation of a company specialised in industrial equipment residual value guarantees, followed by the launch of a strategic asset investment fund. In 2009, they embarked on a new adventure and founded Chetwode, a company they still run today.

As a specialist in financing solutions for industry, Chetwode has, since 2009, supported industrial SMEs growth plans via the structuring and implementation of production equipment financing (whether new equipment leasing or sale & leaseback), and more recently Inventory financing.

Supported by a varied network of financial partners (investment funds, banks, specialist investors), our team can offer structured financing solutions to businesses of all sizes, from family-owned SMEs to publicly quoted multinationals.

To date, Chetwode has structured more than 150 equipment financing transactions for a total amount close to 1 billion euros. Major industrial players like ARC International, Cafés Legal and Chargeurs Group are among those who have benefited from such transactions.

With no fewer than 8 nationalities represented within its team, Chetwode quite naturally retains an international outlook: 43% of its transactions (by value) have been implemented outside France, mainly in Western Europe, but also in North America and China.

Chetwode is also represented in Spain, where an exclusive cooperation agreement was signed with LB Oprent, one of the Spanish leaders in strategic equipment leasing

Keen to remain responsive and flexible, Chetwode has diversified its offer and developed new solutions in line with changing industrial production patterns, offering support to companies in the financing of their sales or their energy and ecological transition.
