Jean-Baptiste has over 35 years cross border structuring experience in the Banking and Finance sectors (BNPP, CACIB). Having worked with Simon Hamilton in creating investment funds and joint venture lessors, he partnered Simon and Chris Jewell in the creation of Chetwode in 2009.
With over 40 years experience in the leasing industry (RBS), Simon established TEAM Ltd in 2002 and founded Chetwode with Jean-Baptiste Magnen and Chris Jewell in 2009, where his cross-border lease structuring experience and wide-ranging contact base are the keys to Chetwode’s success.
After more than 25 years of managerial experience in the leasing industry working for asset based lenders and in vendor finance Bas joins Chetwode as Managing Partner
With 15 years’ experience in finance departments in international groups, Natacha is a partner at 2CFinance. As a part-time CFO, she assists companies to structure their finance department and manage their activity. She is CFO at Chetwode.
Michael has over 30 years of experience in financing companies both as an investment banker and as founder of private equity fund Activa Capital. Michael is Senior Advisor to Chetwode.
Peter is a Chartered Accountant with over twenty years’ experience in the asset rental and leasing business. He is Chairman of Four Winds Partnership, which provides advisory services to international clients on structured leases, asset management and logistics. Peter is Senior Advisor to Chetwode.
She has spent over 20 years in various asset management roles including Head of Asset Management at Hitachi Capital (UK) PLC. Her role is to add value to the assets of the industrial companies that are pledged as collateral in the Chetwode financings. In addition, she inspects them to ensure that their pledge value is maintained.
Adrien holds a Master's degree in Corporate Finance from Kedge Business School's Grande Ecole programme. After various internships (M&A, Account Manager), Adrien will join Chetwode in 2021 as an analyst.
Ghislain graduated from the Grande Ecole programme at Emlyon Business School. After a variety of work experiences in corporate finance (M&A, private equity) and with SMEs, Ghislain joined Chetwode's front-office team in 2023 as an analyst.
An agronomic engineer by training, Christine joined Chetwode’s Front Office in 2016 as a Transaction Manager, in charge of supporting the implementation and follow up of Chetwode transactions.
Before moving into the leasing and finance sector, Michael spent 17 years in the insurance industry and joined TEAM (now Chetwode) in 2004. As Head of Middle Office, Mike is in charge of the implementation of the new financing transactions and management of joint venture leasing companies.
With over 30 years professional experience in various business sectors, Mireille is well versed in administrative management and organisation. After 4 years as personal assistant to Simon Hamilton, Mireille joined Chetwode’s Back Office in 2019 as Executive Assistant and Office Manager.
After 10 years experience in book selling, Céline embarked on a retraining plan to become a management, sale and accounting assistant.
Céline worked in the public and social sector. She is now assisting ACTENE and CHETWODE in the implementation of stock financing transactions.
After 5 years’ experience in business development in the food industry, Jean-Paul joined BNP Paribas (4 years), then worked as regional manager for Eurogage, before creating his own company, specialised in stock financing. Jean-Paul is a Chetwode representative in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes / Bourgogne-Franche-Comté regions.
Renaud graduated from the University of Namur in 1998 with a Master's degree in Economic and Social Sciences. He has worked in the past for many European financial institutions such as Generale Bank, Fortis Bank and GE Capital.
He is also Executive Director of Mitigram and an independent financial consultant in various fields such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, etc. He joins us for the commercial development of Chetwode in Italy.
A graduate of the Centre d'Etudes Supérieures de Banque de Paris, Knut mainly held the position in Germany of COO of @BNP Paribas Real Estate, Head of @BNP Paribas Bank Leasing Services and CEO of @Fortis Lease before pursuing his European career in asset finance as Country Head Germany of @ABN Amro Lease, Head of Market Unit Solutions @Deutsche Leasing and MD Sales of @Comco Leasing. Today, Knut Espeler owns the company @InvestorAppetite.
Having held key management positions in structured finance in Europe and Canada, Philippe has extensive experience in risk and asset management with, notably, over 25 years’ experience in building and profitably managing large operating lease portfolios. He specializes in counterparty risk management and the design and successful execution of risk strategies.
Based in New York and having worked extensively across Europe and the Americas, Steve is an experienced corporate banker with significant expertise in big-ticket international cross-border leasing and funding transactions across a range of industries. He has held senior positions at several major institutions, most recently as Head of Corporate Finance Americas for Standard Chartered Bank. Steve was formerly Head of Structured Leasing at Royal Bank of Scotland and Head of Lease Advisory for UBS Warburg.
